Dallas County DWI Taskforce Launches 2025 “End the Night Right” Campaign

Keeping North Texas Roads Safe This Holiday Season

The Dallas County DWI Taskforce is kicking off its annual End the Night Right campaign — a countywide effort to reduce impaired driving and keep families safe throughout the holiday season.

This year's campaign officially launches on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM at EpicCentral, 2971 S. State Highway 161 in Grand Prairie, Texas. The press conference will bring together law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and safety advocates from across Dallas County to highlight ongoing prevention efforts and announce new resources available to residents.

A Collaborative Effort to Prevent DWI Incidents

Hosted by the Dallas County DWI Taskforce, the 2025 campaign is a joint initiative with Dallas County, the Grand Prairie Police Department, the City of Grand Prairie, MADD Texas, and AAA Texas. Together, these partners are working to educate the public, increase awareness, and provide real solutions that save lives.

The End the Night Right campaign serves as a reminder that impaired driving is 100% preventable. Even one decision to get behind the wheel after drinking can lead to devastating consequences — not just for drivers, but for passengers, families, and the entire community.

Free Lyft Ride Codes for Dallas County Residents

One of the most impactful parts of this year's effort is the distribution of FREE Lyft ride codes, designed to give Dallas County residents a safe and convenient alternative to driving under the influence.

Whether celebrating with coworkers, friends, or family, residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to get home safely. Every ride taken through this program represents a life potentially saved — and one less tragedy on our roads.

Community Support and How to Get Involved

The Taskforce is inviting residents, businesses, and community organizations to get involved by spreading the word and supporting DWI prevention programs throughout Dallas County.

Contributions directly fund public service announcements, outreach materials, and educational efforts that raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving and promote responsible decision-making.

Donations can be made by check payable to:

500 Elm St., Suite 7400

Together, we can make sure everyone in Dallas County gets home safely — every time.
